Your Cabin Bears Den is a thoughtfully appointed one-bedroom cabin designed for quiet connection and simple comfort. Inside, a comfortable queen bed with soft, hotel-quality sheets and layered blankets invites slow mornings and unhurried evenings. Warm bedside lighting creates an intimate glow, while the uncluttered layout keeps the space calm and easy to settle into. The kitchenette is well-equipped for real meals — perfect for breakfast together, a relaxed dinner in, or wine and appetizers before heading to the fire. It offers everything you need to cook comfortably, without the footprint of a full kitchen. Luxury here isn’t about excess. It’s about comfort, quiet, and time together. The Property Sandstone is a nature‑forward retreat created for a couples‑first experience crafted for intentional time away — and for small groups who want to gather without the noise of a commercial resort. Across six wooded acres you’ll find four private cabins, a king suite cottage, and Dells Domes, our signature glamping dome collection. With additional accommodations planned, capacity increases to 12+ units, with a total capacity of 30-36 people by Summer 2026. Two communal fire areas invite connection — a covered deck with a gas firepit and a green‑space wood fire beneath an open sky. The covered outdoor cooking space is designed for relaxed camp meals in any season, with versatile grilling options and comfortable seating — ideal for slow evenings, rainy afternoons, or cooking together without rushing. Frozen pizzas, small‑batch handmade ice cream, and ice are available for purchase, so you don’t have to leave for a late‑night snack. At the heart of the property is the Gathering House, open daily from 6:00am to 12:00am. Self service café‑level espresso drinks, alongside flavored coffees, teas, apple cider, and hot chocolate — with whole milk and sweet cream provided. Sandstone features locally roasted Bella Goose beans and premium syrups to create a delicious cup that starts your morning off just right. You’ll also find several comfortable seating areas, extensive selection of board games, a guitar, fast WiFi, a microwave, and the thoughtful essentials you might need but forgot to pack — from sunblock to dental floss picks — are available if needed. Curated Beverage Experiences Guests may pre‑order from our curated beverage menu featuring local favorites and seasonal selections. Orders are prepared in advance and placed in a branded cooler, ready at check‑in or delivered directly to your cabin. Private bar experiences may also be arranged with advance notice. Close enough for convenience. Far enough for peace. Planning something larger? Sandstone currently hosts up to 26 guests and will expand to 30-36 as new accommodations come online. Dog Policy: We are a dog-friendly property with two designated cabins. If your pup is joining you: Your dog must be listed in the reservation. If there isn’t an option to include them, please communicate with us prior to arrival. We need to know when dogs will be on property to plan appropriately. (Please read full dog policy) Swimming off the dock is not permitted. The Wisconsin River is unpredictable, with strong currents and unseen hazards beneath the surface. Summer (June–August) may include select weekend openings of the No Wake Zone dock bar. Winter (January–April) occasionally features intimate speakeasy evenings in the Gathering House. Quiet hours are observed from 11:00pm–8:00am to preserve the calm that defines Sandstone.

The Gathering House (open 6:00am–12:00am) is the heart of the property — a cozy space for coffee at sunrise, conversation by the fire, or unwinding at the end of the day. Alongside espresso and tea, we offer a curated drink menu highlighting local flavors — from Wisconsin Old Fashioneds to regional brews. Beverages are available by request and can be delivered to your cabin or picked up at the bar to enjoy anywhere on the property. Private bar experiences can also be arranged prior to your stay (additional charge). Many mornings, the founders join guests for coffee and conversation, a tradition that makes Sandstone mornings memorable. Outdoors, the covered deck, grilling station, and communal firepit are designed for effortless connection. Propane, utensils, glassware, and dishware are provided — just bring your favorite ingredients and beverages to enjoy a meal under the stars. Challenge each other to a little friendly competition with backyard favorites like ladder ball, bean bag toss, and life-size Jenga — or just kick back and enjoy the slower pace of cabin life. You can also unwind in our clear mini dome, the perfect cozy spot to sip your favorite beverage, play a game, or simply relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings together. Uber & Lyft frequent the area. Downtown is 1.8mi away and is walking distance for those inclined but we don't recommend walking if you plan to come back after dark. The roads are not lit and walking could be dangerous for pedestrians. Parking downtown typically will cost you something. Certain periods of the year Wisconsin Dells doesn't charge for street parking. Hiking & Recreation Devils Lake is 20min away in Baraboo. Rocky Arbor State park is 2 min from our location. Mirror Lake State Park is 10 min from our location. Shopping: Walmart is a short drive down I90 (7mi) Tanger Outlet mall is a short drive down I90 (8 mi) Coffee & Breakfast: Our favorite, Bella Goose, Dunkin, Starbucks, Denny's and IHOP are 1.5 miles away. Dining: There's so much to take in...here's our favorites: Riverwalk Pub - Log cabin atmosphere and great food. Showboat - Hot Wings & Warm Beer & Loud Music...Dells Historical site. Monks(DOWNTOWN) - You can't do the Dells without getting a Monk Burger High Rock - Classy Downtown spot with a unique menu B-Lux - Milkshakes are incredible and the best cheese curds in town! Summer House (Summer months) Awesome patio overlooking Lake Delton Brat House - Late night eats and great German dishes! Sorentos - Italian fare, favorite spot for an intimate dinner. Ask for the fireplace table! Del-Bar - Famous Wisconsin Supper Club with some awesome Steaks! Ishnala - It's an experience. Plan for an evening and get there early. Bobbers/The Reef - Cool nightclub and restaurant with an Island fair. Live music on Fridays! Jose's - Great spot right up the road with the best Mexican in town. Enjoy the 120oz Margarita with your friends! A bit off the beaten path...J's Pub in Reedsburg. Great Pork Tenderloin, Salmon, Steak and two fireplaces to warm you up.
