Good to know

Our property is comprised of 6 acres of land on the Wisconsin River...we have a cornfield to the North, a seasonal cabin to our South the river to the East and a road and natural area to the West. We are 1.8 mi from downtown Wisconsin Dells. Our property has 4 cabins, perfect for couples and friends to come to the same place and have their own accommodations, 4 Glamping Domes, 1 cottage with 2 queen beds, a Gathering House (Converted Tavern) social area, that is set up as an intimate and cozy atmosphere (think speakeasy), a 24x24 covered deck and 24x10 patio area. Follow the trail down the hill towards the river and you'll find 225 ft of raised walkway through a natural Sandstone canyon that arrives at our private 80 ft dock on the riverfront. You'll find excellent walleye, muskie and sturgeon fishing as well as carp and catfish sheep's head and a bounty of other stuff to catch along with scenery that will make you fall in love... The views from the dock are the crown jewel of the property. We offer a small charcoal grilling station near the cabins and a larger central grilling location by the Gathering House. We have a fire pit in the space beyond the covered deck and plenty of wood to burn on site. Our goal is to host couples, small groups of friends, family or coworkers and provide a space to disconnect from technology, connect with each other, share some unique experiences and make amazing memories you and your loved one/s, you're closest friends or coworkers will look back on for years to come. Maybe Sandstone Rustic Retreat becomes your new getaway tradition! We also offer: *Private Bartender for groups of 8 or more(beats an Uber and rambunctious crowds and high priced drinks downtown...and definitely better than a OWI/DUI on the way home) *Private Catering/Meal Plan for groups of 10 or more (We have relationships with several catering companies in the area and they will do a meal, a reception or even a private dinner) *Ski-Boat Rental (with Captain...We have 1st hand knowledge of the river, keep you safe and make sure you have fun on the water without an unpleasant donation to the areas finest...the Wisconsin DNR *Kayak Rental ($40 for 4 hours, $50 for the entire day) Coming soon: Pontoon Rental

Other Details to Note

Dog Policy: 2 of our cabins are dog friendly. If you have your dog staying with you they must be leashed on the property and may not be left unattended in your cabin unless they are kenneled. You are responsible for any damage they my cause in the cabin or on the property. Please pick up after your pet and dispose of their waste in the outdoor garbage cans. Any harm caused to any other guests or other guest's dogs will be solely your responsibility. Our cabins are close to each other. For the enjoyment of all, we strictly enforce quiet time from 11pm-8am. NO SWIMMING. The river is unpredictable and you cannot see obstructions or tangle hazards under water.
