What a fun unique stay! We spent 1 night in the dome and lucked out with amazing fall weather. We checked in, and didn’t want to leave for supper! It’s such a vibe, so tranquil, so peaceful, so cozy. It’s a great place to settle in and unwind. We had a cozy fire just outside our dome while the sun set and the woods calmed down for the night. Hosts are so personable and welcoming! Everything we needed was there. Wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sandstone Rustic Retreat. Tanner was great, giving us a tour of the entire property and answering any questions we had upon our arrival. The domes were very unique. The cabin we rented was great and loved relaxing by the fire at the end of each day. We didn't have time to kayak. We'll definitely return to visit and recommend to others!

Almost magical! This stay far exceeded our expectations. Every detail was thought of and executed perfectly. We took advantage of the Kayaking, would highly recommend, and they had loads of options for dining and entertainment, but we spent the rest of the time enjoying the peace and beauty of the site. We will be recommending to everyone we meet!

The domes are a beautiful escape in nature without being totally removed from city access. My friend and I were amazed at the creativity and simplicity of the accommodation. It was cozy and had elements of 21st century while not totally removing the nature and camping feel. 10/10 would recommend this to anyone seeking a getaway!

Excellent Stay in the Cabin! This is my 3rd visit to Sandstone Rustic Retreat and my 1st stay in a cabin rather than a dome. Each experience has been special and unique. As a solo-female traveler, safety and precaution is key. I feel safe and at home on property. Coffee or a latte in the morning at the clubhouse is top notch on customer service. Tanya's attention to detail is unrivaled to any other Airbnb Stay. I will continue to stay at this gorgeous site hosted by great folks. Thanks again!

It was great staying here! The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. It was a peaceful, relaxing stay while still being close to downtown. Tanya and Cale provided great local tips and were always available to answer any questions. Highly recommend!

The Rustic King Cottage was to our rescue after an AirBnB booking done by my boyfriend at a different location went wrong! Tanya was immediately responsive and very accommodating as I found this booking last minute, thank goodness! The king cottage is absolutely beautiful, comfortable, cozy and charming! The surrounding area was beautiful and we loved everything about it! Highly recommend this space and thank you Tanya for saving my Bday!!!

Such a special little place surrounded by tranquility. The love and care Tanya and her husband have put into Sandstone Rustic Retreat is evident. They were so kind. So open and we loved hearing their story and how this adventure of theirs has gone. The property itself is everything you’d dream of when wanting to escape to serenity. From quaint little areas to sit and relax, to the beautiful waterfront dock on the Wisconsin River, to the romantic lighting that illuminates the property at night. Oh and the globe! Where we stayed. Perfect! I’m generally a snob with globes and want a bathroom in them but the common bathrooms were close to ours and they were nicely done, clean and not an issue at all for us. Come explore this retreat built with purpose and love and you won’t be disappointed!

Tanya & Cale were so welcoming, accommodating and made us feel right at home! They had plenty of recommendations and made sure we were settling in well. Dome #4 had the best views and the full moon was an amazing experience to see while relaxing at night. The area has a lot of unique places to see in just a quick drive away. Thank you both again for making our first trip to Wisconsin great!

Our stay at this cabin in Wisconsin Dells was absolutely perfect! The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had all the comforts of home. The cabin itself felt cozy yet spacious, with plenty of room to relax and unwind. We especially loved the peaceful setting surrounded by nature—it gave us the best mix of privacy and convenience, just a short drive from all the attractions in the Dells.
The hosts went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right, and their attention to detail really made our stay special. From the comfortable beds and well-stocked kitchen to the relaxing outdoor space, every little touch made it feel welcoming.
We can’t recommend this cabin enough—whether you’re looking for a family getaway, a couples’ retreat, or just a relaxing escape, this is the perfect spot. We’ll definitely be coming !
